It doesn't change their rewards.ĭon't do a Research or Fortification Safehouse once it's filled with the correct members (T4 Aisling and T4 Hillock, respectively), rather save it for the Mastermind encounter. This actually removes their weapons and armor and makes them easier to kill. Sometimes Bargain or Betray will offer to "Destroy Syndicate members’ items". The more of both friendships and rivalries there are, the more Syndicate members will appear in your encounters, speeding up arranging your Intervention board. Never choose the Betray or Bargain option if it removes all rivalries (red lines) or friendships (green lines). Use when both of the other options would screw up your Investigation board. It releases that member and has no other effect. Release is a small yellow button down in the bottom right of your main UI, not on the Syndicate interface. Interrogate and Release are always available, and the third option is selected among Execute, Bargain, Betray according to a set of rules. Syndicate encounter options are: Interrogate, Execute, Bargain, Betray, Release. Then promote the old leader into a new Division in subsequent encounters.Ĭhain-farm Mastermind using this strategy Current leader will be sent to interrogation for 3 turns, and replaced as leader by another member of that Safehouse. Bargain and Betray also sometimes offer an option to demote.ĭemote and remove a Safehouse leader by completing that Safehouse. They'll show up again in later encounters, and you can promote them into the correct division. If they fall to 0 stars (T0), removes them from all divisions, and places them at bottom of Investigation board. Higher rank/tier = higher rewards.ĭemote by Interrogating. T4 = T3 + in the Mastermind Safehouse after defeating Mastermind. Members can have 1 to 3 stars, aka T1 to T3. Bargain and Betray also sometimes offer an option to promote. Mastermind resurrects them and rewards their loyalty by promoting them, and keeping them in their current division. Repeat.ĭemote members in the wrong Division to get them out of that Division, then Promote them in subsequent encounters into the correct Division. Once you have the Main Goals set up and Mastermind Lair unlocks, run it. Instead, save it for when the Mastermind Lair unlocks, where it provides the highest rewards. While doing that, set up the Research Safehouse per #2 Main Goal, but never run the Research Safehouse. Summary: Run Fortification, Intervention, and Transportation Safehouses repeatedly whenever they unlock. Janus -> T3 Intervention (Expedition scarabs)Ĭameria -> T3 Transportation ( league-specific uniques otherwise not target-farmable, can be valuable)Įlreon -> T3 Transportation (his ring and amulet drops contain a valuable unveil ( reduced mana cost of channeling and non-channeling skills), and in Transportation he has a chance to drop Paradoxica, Syndicate’s most valuable unique) Hillock -> T3 Fortification (30% quality to bodyarmor) or T3 Research (30% quality to flasks)

Safehouse rewards are less than Mastermind rewards, but you can run Safehouses more often, which is better for farming Scarabs from Intervention: Secondary goal: Promote the following to T3 and then run their Safehouse for their T3 rewards. Search "Betrayal Cheatsheet" for most current version. These are generally the most valuable, but see league-specific cheatsheet for alternatives. Tora -> T3 Research (skill gem XP, invaluable for leveling Awakened gems)Ĭhange these around if needed. It That Fled -> T3 Research (upgrade Breachstone) Leo -> T3 Research (Exalt slam to any item) Vorici -> T3 Research (White sockets to any item) Try to get Aisling into the Research Safehouse leader slot.
SYNDICATE POE MOD
Then run the Mastermind Lair where they give T4 rewards (rank=Captain + inside Mastermind Safehouse) :Īisling -> T3 Research (Veiled Exalt mod to any item, aka "Aisling slam"). Primary goal: Fill the Research division with the following members and promote them to Captain (3 stars = T3). Completing map encounters unlocks Safehouses, and completing Safehouses unlocks Mastermind. d) Then run their Safehouses and/or Mastermind encounter to collect their rewards. (Bargain and Betray also sometime offer an option to Demote or Promote) c) Get the highest value Syndicate members into their highest value Division at their highest possible rank (Captain). b) Demote by Interrogating, Promote by Executing. a) Demote them out of their current Division, Promote them into a new one. TLDR: Move Syndicate members around between Divisions by Demoting and Promoting them.
